Why We #LOVEinclusion

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about Unified Theater, the program that provided me with my first inclusive experience. In February, Unified Theater hosted #LOVEinclusion month to build excitement around inclusion and the ways it has affected our development. Now, I know we are a couple of days late, but we at KIT decided to share all that we love about inclusion, too, to make sure everyone knows what fires us up to do this work every day!

Amanda Couture – Executive Coordinator
I #LOVEinclusion because it teaches my son to value all people and will help him grow up to be a compassionate, caring man.

Anna Luther – Project Director
I #LOVEinclusion because it means that everyone is valued as a contributing member of the community.

Janet George – Education & Training Specialist
I #LOVEinclusion because it creates space in community for each of us to be our authentic self.

Sara Couron – Chief Program Officer
I #LOVEinclusion because being on the inside is where everyone should be.

Cheri Chord – Education & Training Specialist
I #LOVEinclusion because all children matter! Inclusion embraces differences and welcomes and supports the needs of all children with various abilities!

Kathryn King – Business Development Manager
I #LOVEinclusion because every child deserves a friend and a place to shine!

Alissa Marotto – Research & Evaluation Director
I #LOVEinclusion because it is an opportunity to use creativity and ingenuity.

Audrey Vistro – Inclusion Specialist
I #LOVEinclusion because it creates a pathway to success (for everyone involved).

Nili Mathews – Training Manager
I #LOVEinclusion because it is the great equalizer, providing opportunities for all children to express their strengths.

Torrie Dunlap – CEO
I #LOVEinclusion because having friends of all abilities, interests, backgrounds, etc has made my life much richer and more interesting.
