Viviana has over 17 years of hands–on experience in working with typically developing children and children with disabilities. She has served as a program specialist/supervisor, camp counselor, preschool teacher, director and formerly served as Affiliate Coordinator at KIT. Currently Viviana serves as one of KIT’s Education and Training Specialist working with Military and Community based childcare organizations located nationally and internationally.
Viviana received her Bachelors of Science in Human Services with an emphasis in Youth Development and Community Leadership from Springfield College. She is a certified Family Support Specialist through Alliant University and the National Alliance for Mental Health Illnesses-San Diego and holds a current certification in Youth and adult Mental Health First Aid. Viviana also currently serves as a member of the Cuyamaca College Child Development Advisory Committee in San Diego, and is involved in translation and curriculum development. She enjoys travel, exploring new places with her family, and teaching and learning from her daughter Lia.
