Mark Michaels, MEd

Mark Michaels joined KIT in October 2024 as a Curriculum Development Specialist. He began his career as a Middle Grades Social Studies teacher and then transitioned into a Social Studies Curriculum Specialist role. With a passion for impactful curriculum and training, Mark brings extensive experience in education to KIT. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in History with a Teacher Certification, a Special Education Endorsement, and a Master's Degree in Instructional Design and Educational Technology.

In his free time, Mark enjoys watching his favorite Chicago sports teams, playing soccer and pickleball with friends, and spending quality time with family over board games.
