KIT is looking for an innovative leader who can provide Board-level guidance to the organization during a time of transition. We are moving from a primarily training model to one with an emphasis on coaching to drive lasting behavioral change.


Ideal Background

Expertise in last-mile behavior change, with experience evolving organizations from training to coaching on an impactful scale.

  • Background driving individual behavior change through coaching, mentoring, or implementation support. Experience with Behavior Change Marketing, a plus
  • Scaling Coaching frameworks across large networks of youth development professionals
  • Commitment to equity and inclusion, especially for youth with disabilities. Knowledge of adaptive coaching methods, a plus
  • Passion for empowering youth, closing opportunity gaps, and creating systems-level change in education and youth development.
  • Entrepreneurial outlook and creative problem-solving skills to enhance KIT’s mission and impact


The ideal candidate will act as a thought partner on enhancing KIT’s coaching capacity to best serve youth with disabilities. They will help develop strategies that turn KIT’s renowned training into changed mindsets and practices that benefit all youth. The Board member will exemplify a dedication to inclusion, leveraging their expertise to help KIT reach and serve those who stand to gain the most. We welcome a conversation.
