Meet Cooper!

Jennifer has been working with Cooper’s team since he was in 6th grade. At that time, he was self-contained in a special education resource room for 100% of his instruction. Starting in 7th grade, Cooper has been included with his same-aged peers across his entire day, and is now a thriving 10th grader with full access to academics, robust relationships, and participating in extracurricular activities with his friends. Jennifer has worked with Cooper’s team to teach and secure instructional strategies and supports that are person-centered and meet Cooper’s individual needs while continuing professional development for the school staff members.

Independent Educational Evaluations

Trying to assess the least restrictive environment? Have behaviors that are creating barriers to learning? The Inclusive Schools staff can conduct Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) for identified students. This grants an opportunity for districts, families, and schools to have a strength-based, person-centered, thoroughly inclusive evaluation conducted, so that students are able to participate meaningfully with appropriate instructional and behavioral support across their day. Independent Educational Evaluations can be designed and conducted specifically for identified student needs, are standalone evaluation reports based on classroom observation, and include administration of appropriate evaluation tools. Our IEEs provide recommendations, strategies and suggested professional development necessary to meet the needs of even the most complex of learners.

Online Learning Center
