This week I’ve spent some time on Instagram following the travels of our very own Phillip, who has spent most of May providing his special brand of inclusion training and support to child and youth programs in Japan. I peeked at our records and found that (by my count) this is Phillip’s 13th training trip to Asia in the past 5 years. Every trainer seems to have their happy place, and I think this is definitely Phillip’s. In his honor today I want to share a “Flashback Friday” to one of my favorite training photos, which comes from one of Phillip’s past Japan trips.
There are some advantages to a trainer delivering repeat visits to the same program over a number of years. The bonds created by the trainer and the program staff create a lot of trust, which means we can get farther, faster. Everyone is excited to see the progress made between visits!
Safe travels home, Phillip!
Enjoy the holiday weekend, everyone!
