Laura Jenks, MS

"Inclusion…Everyone, everything, everywhere... always."

Laura Jenks has over ten years of experience supporting people with disabilities in inclusive settings. She has a BS in Sociology and Special Education from the University of Oregon and an MS in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Laura has varied experience in case management, assisted living, and parks and recreation. Her passion has always been in community access and inclusion. She volunteers with the non-profit, Harper’s Playground, in her hometown of Portland, OR promoting naturally inclusive play for all children through playground development. As an Education and Training Specialist for KIT, Laura provides training, webinars, inclusion support, consultation and is involved in curriculum development.
