Fransy Russey, CPA

Fransy joined KIT as an accounting consultant in July 2013 and became its first CFO in February 2015. As part of the leadership team, she is responsible for financial oversight, business operations, human resources, risk management, and information technology. Her current priorities include spearheading the implementation of systems that will drive organizational efficiency, improve infrastructure, and support substantial future growth.
Fransy has extensive experience in both the nonprofit and accounting industries and has worked closely with various not-for-profit clients in the San Diego and Orange County areas as a consultant providing CFO and controller services. She earned her BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting at CalState Polytechnic University Pomona and is CPA certified in the state of California. She is a member of the CalCPA, serves as Co-Treasurer for her daughter's Elementary PTO, and currently volunteers at Woman's Club of Carlsbad.
