Brayden Leal

"Inclusion to me means being valued as an individual and ensuring success in all aspects of life for all."

Brayden came to KIT in November of 2021 as an Inclusion Support Specialist. He received his B.S. in Psychology and has extensive experience helping children with trauma and developmental delays, as well as adults experiencing homelessness and substance abuse. From a young age, Brayden found his love for helping others and seeing the best parts of an individual, which originally led him to pursue his first career choice as a Marriage and Family Therapist. With inclusion being so near and dear to his heart, he decided to switch gears and work in the non-profit sector instead, where he joined KIT to help make a difference in the lives of children every day.

Previously, Brayden worked as a Child Protective Services Investigator and Mental Health Specialist for Early Head Start and Head Start. He has training in Trauma-Informed Care, along with Motivational and Forensic Interviewing. Outside of work, he loves traveling, indulging in Netflix and podcasts, trying new eateries, walking his pup Randy, racing cars, and spending quality time with his partner, friends, and family.
