Anna Luther, MSW

"To me, inclusion means recognizing that everyone has value and can meaningfully contribute to their community."

Anna began working with individuals with developmental disabilities in 2002 as a personal assistant and teacher assistant in a public school program for young adults. This was the start of a now long-felt passion for providing support and services for children, families and educational programs designed for inclusiveness in her community. Since graduating with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Anna has provided training, consultation and technical assistance related to inclusion for child care, after-school and recreation providers worldwide. From 2013-2016 Anna directed a project at KIT in partnership with LEED Management Consulting Inc. focused on inclusion in the US Department of Education 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
